AKA Polytechnic Bogor collaborated with Nano Center Indonesia to prepare the National Competency Work Standards (SKKNI) in the field of Nanomaterial Engineering. In the future, this standard will be the first competency standard set by the Ministry for the field of nanotechnology nationally. The embodiment of the SKKNI can be in the form of various competency tests that will be held by the certification body to provide certificates of competency for workers in the nanomaterials sector.

Nano Center Indonesia also contributed to pouring ideas into the preparation of competency standards. One of them is the competence to synthesize nanomaterials using milling and electrospinning methods which were discussed on September 20th, 2022, with Dr. Etik Mardliyati, M.Eng. and Putri Hawa Syaifie, M.Sc. and representatives of lecturers of AKA Polytechnic Bogor.
