Boiler Coating with FeCrAl/SiC/B4C is a advancement of coating materials with high resistance to oxidation and corrosion. Mostly boiler in Indonesia is water-tube type so the steam inevitably carries a high concentration of vapor and oxygen in which oxidation occurs. These coating made from step by step mechanical alloying with layer by layer sequence to address the oxidation behavior in each layer. Additionally, there is also a pre-heating to make the coating agent diffuse or intertwine across the layer. The sample then heated to 800oC which is close to boiler operation for 200 hours to see the oxidation behavior. The research produced a fruitful result, the oxidation process is reduced up to 93% for about 200 hours of heating operation.
